Welcome

My playground for trying out new and interesting things

Hello, my name is Neil.., and i'm actually a full time video editor for Swiss Television. But, when I'm not doing that or doing what i like to do most, spending time with my family or friends, then I like to spent time with my hobbies, travel, photography and computer technology.

Over a long period of time I have programmed and developed several web applications and sites, with my own photography website - Lightscape-Images being one of my main areas of interest.

Lightware Facts

lightware.ch was initially created to showcase the various websites that I had programmed for friends and clients.

For a long time only the sign "due to appear in this space shortly" was availabe and the clients would be redirected to a password protected sub-folder where they could view their resp, sites during the development stage.

I have now decided to open the site as a sort of self-advertising, showcasing what I have done and of course what i can do :)

Please feel free to browse around the site and if you have any questions please don't hesitate to use the contact form to get in touch. I will reply as soon as possible.

Who knows maybe one day our paths will cross and i can realise a project for you?

Lightscape-Images is the name of my personal photography website and indeed the reason why I got into programming in the first place. I try to concentrate on content on the website and not just the programming aspect of it. Obviously I want the site to be attractive, and easy to use. But I also want the ability to be able to change the site as I see fit and not be constricted to any one particular design.

Content precedes design.
Design in the absence of content is not design, it’s decoration.

Any teacher that can be replaced by a computer, deserves to be.

I have not failed. I have just found 10,000 ways that won't work.
